Welcome to Jersey City Auto Liberty Shippings. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, jerseycityautolibertyshipping.com, and, where expressly incorporated into a service agreement, your use of our auto transportation services.

By using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the website.

2. Services

Jersey City Auto Liberty Shippings provides information and assistance relating to vehicle transportation services, including:

  • Open Car Transport
  • Enclosed Car Transport
  • Door-to-Door Auto Transport
  • State-to-State Auto Transport

The precise nature of our role, whether as a motor carrier, transportation broker, or another legally permitted service provider, will be disclosed in the applicable service agreement.

Service availability depends on transportation routes, carrier capacity, vehicle specifications, and scheduling requirements.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Transportation quotes are based on information provided by customers, including vehicle details, shipping locations, transportation preferences, and requested dates.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, a quote is an estimate and does not constitute a guaranteed final price or confirmed booking.

Pricing may change if the customer provides inaccurate information, changes the requested service, or requires additional handling.

Any applicable fees, payment conditions, and price adjustments will be governed by the accepted service agreement.

4. Booking and Scheduling

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, vehicle specifications, and pickup and delivery addresses.

Submitting a quote request does not automatically confirm a transportation reservation.

A booking becomes effective according to the acceptance requirements stated in the applicable service agreement.

Pickup and delivery dates may be estimates rather than guarantees unless a guaranteed service has been expressly agreed upon.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that they are legally authorized to arrange transportation of the vehicle.

Before pickup, customers should:

  • Remove valuables and unauthorized personal belongings.
  • Disclose mechanical problems and vehicle modifications.
  • Provide accurate vehicle dimensions and operating information.
  • Make the vehicle available at the agreed pickup location.
  • Provide keys and any necessary operating instructions.
  • Participate in or authorize the vehicle condition inspection.

Additional requirements may be specified in the transportation agreement.

6. Vehicle Pickup and Delivery

Door-to-door transportation is subject to safe and legal carrier access.

When a carrier cannot access the requested address because of road restrictions, insufficient clearance, safety concerns, or other practical limitations, an alternate nearby meeting location may be arranged.

Customers or their authorized representatives must be available for pickup and delivery inspections unless other arrangements have been approved.

7. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

The vehicle’s visible condition should be documented before transportation.

Customers should review the Bill of Lading or other inspection documentation at pickup and delivery.

Any concerns about newly discovered damage should be documented promptly in accordance with the applicable transportation agreement and legal requirements.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Transportation Delays

Estimated pickup and delivery schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, road closures, equipment problems, carrier availability, government restrictions, or other circumstances.

We will handle scheduling obligations according to the applicable service agreement and governing law.

9. Insurance and Liability

The insurance arrangements, coverage limits, exclusions, and claims procedures applicable to a shipment depend on the responsible transportation provider and the governing agreement.

Customers should request and review relevant insurance information before shipment.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or reduce liability where prohibited by applicable federal or state law.

10. Payments and Cancellation

Payment methods, due dates, deposits, cancellation fees, and refund eligibility will be disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.

Customers should review these terms before confirming transportation.

If a conflict exists between these website Terms and a separately executed transportation agreement, the applicable agreement will govern to the extent permitted by law.

11. Website Information

We aim to provide accurate and useful website information. However, descriptions, pricing examples, estimated schedules, and service availability may change.

16. Governing Law

These website Terms are governed by applicable federal law and, where not preempted, the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Any dispute resolution provisions must be consistent with applicable law and any separately accepted service agreement.
